The biggest whales in the Ethereum ecosystem are buying lots of low-cap coins as the crypto market continues its downtrend.
The latest figures from whale tracking website WhaleStats are showing the activities of the 1.000 largest Ethereum (ETH) holders.
The platform compiles a list of the top 10 coins held by Ethereum whales.
In 6th place is OKB, WhaleStats shows that whale investors hold an average of $528.173 in OKB tokens.
OKB (OKB) is a cryptocurrency issued by the OKEx Blockchain Foundation. This Ethereum-based coin allows investors on the OKEx exchange to pay fees, earn interest, and participate in new digital asset projects.
This tracker also shows that whales are accumulating Bitpanda ecosystem tokens (BEST) as whales hold an average of $461.230 BEST, BEST coming in at 9th place.
Ethereum has moved ahead of all other coins in the number 1 spot, followed by the meme coin Shiba Inu at the 2nd spot.
FTX Token (FTT), the exchange's coin FTX ranked third while stablecoin Tether (USDT) and blockchain gaming platform Gala ranked fourth and fifth respectively.
CRO, the token of the Crypto.com exchange, is in seventh, and stablecoin USD Coin (USDC) is in eighth. oracle network chainlink (LINK) at number 10.
