After the collapse of the Soviet Union, Lebedev acquired the National Reserve Bank of Russia, which has now grown to become one of the largest banks in Russia.
Before 2012, his net worth was estimated to have risen to billions of dollars ... but an investigation by the Central Bank of Russia and the FSB has evaporated a lot of his wealth.
By 2015, it is estimated that his net worth was about $ 400 million.
